(Washington Post)
Fort Washington couple evicted from million-dollar house:
When I initially read the headlines I felt sorry for this couple; then I read the rest of the story.
Where I come from they are called “All flash and no cash”.
Keith and Janet Ritter did not make a single mortgage payment on the showcase home along the Potomac River after buying it at the end of 2006.
To me, this had to be part of their game plan.
There are so many people in this world that want to put on “the dog”. They suffer from a very common disease called “Pepsi Cola pockets and Champagne taste”.
My heart bleeds for the honest people out there that are breaking their backs to live and work as honest, productive citizens that ran across some bad time. There is no way that I have any sympathy for these “wanna bees” that are taking advantage of the systems.
Mr. & Mrs. Ritter lived in their mansion for almost 7 years by dodging the bullets, remortgaging their home and declaring bankruptcy numerous times.
Keith buddy; get back down to earth and live with-in your means. You will sleep better at night, although it may be in a smaller crib.
