Donors Pledge $16B in Afghan Aid:

TOKYO – International donors pledged Sunday $16 billion in badly needed development aid for Afghanistan over the next four years when most foreign troops will leave as Afghan President Hamid Karzai urged the international community not to abandon his country.

All I can say is “who is going to watch the store” and Karzai? Remember what Sad-ham did. I would not trust Karzai as far as I can throw Andre the Giant.

Already Karzai is laughing all the way to the vault.

Just how much of this 16 billion is going to go for roads, hospitals or for rebuilding this war torn country? When you are dealing with this amount of money all of the crooks come out of the closet and will be filling their pockets and dump trucks.

Throughout history where large sums of money have been donated to a country for relief efforts, there has been a very small portion of the donations that was spent on what it was intended for. Especially gigantic amounts like this.
