Delaware pediatrician convicted of water-boarding girlfriend’s daughter:

Every once and awhile we run across a “nut case” that stands out among the rest of the wackos out there.

A Delaware jury convicted a pediatrician Thursday of water-boarding his companion’s daughter by holding the child’s head under a faucet.

This sicko Melvin Morse, 60 was charged with three felonies, two for alleged water-boarding and one for alleged suffocation by hand. He was convicted of one felony – water-boarding in the bathtub – and five misdemeanors.

His ambulance chaser came up with a unique defense for the “water-boarding” charge contending that his client was just washing the girl’s hair and she did not like. If you are going to be a bullshitter, at least be a good one.

He is not what we would consider a stupid person. He has written several books and articles on paranormal science and near-death experiences involving children; has appeared on shows such as “Larry King Live” and the “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to discuss his research, which also has been featured on an episode of “Unsolved Mysteries” and in an article in “Rolling Stone” magazine.

Morse had his medical license was suspended after his arrest.

The girl’s mother, Pauline Morse, 41, pleaded guilty last year to misdemeanor endangerment charges and testified against Melvin Morse. What took her so long  to stand up for her daughter?

Pauline Morse and her daughter testified that Melvin Morse used water-boarding as a threat or a form of punishment for the slights of what he thought were infractions of his very rigid rules.

The allegations of the water-boarding didn’t surface until after the girl ran away to escape the abuse she was receiving from her mother’s live-in crackpot. According to the girl she went to a classmate’s home the morning after Morse grabbed her by the ankle and dragged her across a gravel driveway into the home, where she was spanked and warned of worse punishment the next day.

In addition to water-boarding the girl Morse subjected the girl to other abuse, including being forced to stand with arms outstretched for hours at a time; being confined to her room, where she had to use her toy box or closet as a toilet; and being deprived of food or force fed until she vomited. It sounds to me like this sick foot doctor enjoyed what he was doing.

Sub-humans like this uncivilized savage should be locked up in cage, fed only bread and water for a few months and water boarded once a day to show them what it feels like.

I know that is not PC but it would sure get the message across. Scum like the defrocked doc don’t understand kindness and compassion.

In situations like this I have often wondered what the mothers were doing while their kids were getting tortured by their shack up partners??

For a parent to turn their back on the abuse their kid is getting from some sex partner is almost as inexcusable as the crime. Shame on her.
