Russia threatens to confiscate U.S. assets:

I have seen many times in my life when someone got in between two brother or two sisters that were fighting and they both turned on the would be savior.

Our efforts around the world to try and bring peace to mankind has backfire on the USA 98% of the time where the people we are attempting to help turn on us like dogs. Did anyone ever hear of Afghanistan?

Paint out your own house before you tell someone else their house needs a paint job.

Most of the time it is a wise decision to mind your own business unless there is a direct threat to you. This is one of those times.

How is trying to “save” Ukraine going to impact the USA except putting us in worse financial shape than we are now?

Putin has been on a mission flexing his muscles to show the world that he is the “Top Comrade” and is not going to back down from anyone. I may even go so far to say Putin had this invasion planned for a long time but postponed it until after he put on his world class performance.

I have to give him credit, he did prevent any serious terrorists attacks at the games.

Why do you think he spent 54 billion dollars of the “Russian’s peoples money” on the Olympics, because he could. There is no one there to stop him.

Russia is not one of these impoverished countries that will be grossly effected by sanctions, so they could care less what threats they are receiving from outsiders.

Let us keep in mind that there are many people in the Ukraine that are in favor of being controlled by Russia. That is what voting booths are for; supposedly.

This is not the first nor will it be the last flair-up in that part of the world. It has been happening for many years.

What this ugly scene between Putin and Obama has escalated to now is; which one of them is going to capitulate and show their weakness? What we have is a master swordsman going up against a novice swordsman. It can get very ugly.

By the USA getting involved in every skirmish that happens around the world, it has put us in a deep hole  that we will never get out of.
