The reality of Obama’s lack of leadership must be in dire straits for ABC and some of the other liberal news media to come out and criticize the way he is handling the day to day operations of our country.
Barack Obama’s rating for strong leadership has dropped to a new low in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, hammered by criticism of his work on international crises and a stalled domestic agenda alike. With the midterm elections looming, Americans by a 10-point margin, 52-42 percent, see his presidency more as a failure than a success.
The polls show that only 38 percent now approve of Obama’s handling of international affairs, down 8 percentage points since July to a career low; 56 percent disapprove, a majority for the first time.
The 38 percent of the people that approve of Mr. O’s lack of leadership must be living under a rock, very gullible or both.
I remember a movie I saw years ago name Stalag 13 where one of the inmates of a prisoner of war camp who was incarcerated for 5 years, got a letter from his wife saying that she was pregnant with “their child”. He told all of the guys in his barracks that he believed that the child was his. Get the connection??
I don’t care if the person is a democrat, republican or a socialist; anyone that can say the Obama is doing a good job either has to be a relative or they must own him money.
The fact speak for themselves.
A very crucial part of being the President of the USA is displaying outstanding, unwavering strength, leadership and getting “down and dirty” personality when necessary. These are characteristics that Obama has not displayed. Is it a lack of experience, having a non-combative mindset, a hidden agenda or all of the above?
Not only do the vast majority of the people in the USA know Obama is not living up to his own hype but the rest of the world is not being deceived by the same old rhetoric and the lackadaisical manner in which he handles his affairs.
I personally believe that Obama was not cut out to be the president and was just handpicked in 2008 to get a minority into the White House. That would be all well and good if he was doing his job.
Obama was elected because of a few elements. Most people did not want to go for another 4 years with a republican in the top seat – Oprah gave him a gigantic boost, when later she was “kicked to under the bus” because of Michele, many Americans want to demonstrate that they were not prejudice and they wanted to give Obama a chance to fulfill all of the promises he made during his campaign. Last but most important, he got the votes from all of the freeloaders in this country that think “work” is a dirty four letter word. It goes without saying, he is batting 380 out of a 1000 and those are poor numbers.
At the time Obama threw his hat in the ring many experts in the field questioned whether he had enough or any experience in politics to hold the presidency office. I guess their speculation was right on.
I really don’t think that any one person should have as much power as the President of the USA. It can be compared to a dictatorship. Obama has certain guidelines to follow set forth by the constitution but when he is not getting the co-operation he expects he uses his executive privilege to push home his agenda. To me that is a very dangerous situation in the event that a person is a little off their rocker or has ulterior motives.
Obama is not much different than some of the past presidents in using his executive privilege but what he is lacking is the ability the “pull the trigger” in tough decisions when necessary. The citizens of the USA are not the only people that are aware of his inability to take the tough road when necessary.
Being the supposedly “strongest and most powerful military” in the world there are certain expectations that are anticipated from the USA in the leadership role and we are, because of Obama, falling short these areas.
All good Americans do want to see a particular show of strength in their president and hate to see him being kicked around.
You can bet your bottom dollar if Ronald Reagan was in office the Chinese would not be strafing our carriers as they have in the past week. Putin would not be bullying his way around in Europe, the gates of hell would not be open so anyone and everyone can enter the USA. Take care of your family first.
There are many elements that will dictate how much respect a president will get and one of them is putting the fear of god into the enemy. Obama has not shown that characteristic/quality. ISIS and people like them are a different breed of creatures that do not understand kindness or rationality, all they connect with is strength and violence.
If the enemy does not fear or respect his adversary, he battle is won before it ever begins.
It truly is a mystery to most people just what motivates Obama or doesn’t. One thing I do know is; if he doesn’t come out of his shell and react to these terrorist in terms they understand he is going to take the USA down the tubes even further.
It is a fact of life that fear and respect go hand in hand.
Repeated threats do not work; only retaliation in kind is all they understand.
How many times have we seen a parent keep telling their kids they are going to put them in the corner and never does? The kids surely have their number and consider the threats as empty promises. They begin to laugh at the parents.
The only reason Obama has jumped on the band wagon in the last few days about taking a stronger position regarding ISIS is there is too much public demand for it.
I don’t care who you are; no one likes a weak leader, not even ABC or CBS.
As far as the USA getting involved in another war, we should demand that all of the countries in the free world were are protecting help carry the ball, physically and financially; especially the oil rich countries that continually reap the benefits and never get their hands dirty.
If some of them can spend 16 million dollars on a license plate; what shouldn’t they pay to have their country protected? They probably have more to lose than most people.
God forbid one of these pampered shiek ever had to get a real job.
Let’s get the USA back in the forefront on the worlds stage and demand the respect we deserve by putting out the lights on these terrorists.
Nip it the bud; that is if the tree hasn’t grown too strong yet.
