This is a new day Canada and not a good one

Ottawa Shootings: The Day ‘Canada Lost Its Innocence’:

Hold on to your hats my Canadian cousins and start looking at the world in a different light. The days of peace and tranquility are long over.

We all know just how civilized, compassionate and PC the Canadian people are but the complexion of the world we live in has made some drastic turns and none for the better. What you witnessed yesterday, unfortunately is just the tip of the iceberg.

Incidents such as this have a tendency to bring the “crazies” out of the closet. There is going to be a lot more of the same to follow and you should be prepared for it.

Now might be a good time for the Canadian government to take a closer look at their gun control laws and consider issuing conceal and carry permit to “responsible” citizens.

If it wasn’t for the fact that sergeant-at-arms of Canada’s House of Commons, Kevin Vickers did have his firearm with him yesterday that shooting would have turned out much worse than it did.

It would be my sincere wish that NO ONE in the world carried a gun or found it necessary to do so but we live in a very violent society and we need to have the same advantage as the bad guys.

As we can see by the shooting in the Canadian Parliament yesterday, violence and terrorism has no boundaries.

One of the major keys to self-preservation is to be prepared and not getting caught with your pants down. “A word to the wise should be sufficient.”

Right on commentary Martin. You hit the nail on the head! Unfortunate week in Canada with the attacks in Quebec and Ottawa.

    Thanks for the shout out.

Thanks Uncle M. Yesterday’s events really opened people’s eyes here. I am a proud Canadian, always have been. Even moreso a proud father. I want my girls to know that even though there are pieces of shit in this world – good will always be greater than evil. I work in Hamilton. Cpl. Nathan Cirillo is from this city. I made sure to stop by the detachment this morning to pay my respects. Felt a need to do so. Made me mad. Made me cry. He is the father of a kindegarten aged son. He is a hero. I never post stuff online but you were kind enough to open the door by making mention of myself and my siblings. Thank you. MV Jr.
PS – To all those that blow dough on the slots or scratch tickets and post pictures online dumping water over their heads, maybe think about making a donation to our military. Give them the respect they deserve. I have…
