Pope: Iran deal opportunity to make world a safer place

Pope Francis must be reading the Goomba Gazette and is echoing it’s comments with a thumbs up.

This is the post I did a couple of days ago after Obama’s speech.

I just listened to President Obama’s speech on the tentative Iranian nuclear deal and the key word throughout was IF that was used many times during the course of his speech.

I totally agree with Obama that IF Iran does abide by the rules and regulation set forth in the agreement, the entire world will be a better place for it.

IF what Obama is telling the world is accurate, this has to be some of the most positive news to come down the pike in years for mankind.

Anyone that would rather bomb Iran and its nuclear facilities and start another war instead of finding a peaceful solution should be locked up in a padded cell.

We all have to acknowledge the efforts Mr. I and his team put into this deal, IF in fact it pans out the way he explained it would.  The problem being; we are so used to being deceived by politicians that it is extremely difficult to tell when they are telling the truth or not.

I want to be very optimistic and hope that what Mr. O has stated is factual and the end results is to the satisfaction of the free world.

In Obama’s speech he was very emphatic about the untrustworthiness of the Iranian government and the fact that they need to be continually servailed. I was very surprised he was so forthright publically.  He eluded to many times the fact of the security and scrutiny that Iran is going to have to allow; something that we all will have to take a wait and see attitude about.  Their history does not back up their integrity.

The world has to remember what North Korea did under similar circumstances.  While they were signing the agreement, they were making the bomb.

It is going to take a great deal of vigilance to make sure that Iran abides by rules. If in fact there is ever a infraction, immediate and severe actions has to be taken.

Today for his efforts; I am going to give Obama a 5 star rating, IF he told it the way it actually is. I can not see any reason why there should be any deception on his part in a matter as sensitive as this.

Yesterday in one of my posts I said there is never any good news; I will have to eat my words. This is phenomenal news for the USA and the world.  Without optimism what would we have; as long as we are smart enough to keep our eye on the hog and our finger on the trigger.
