I am glad to see that the commentators asked the tough questions in last nights debate. Some of the candidates were slightly uncomfortable when the heat was turned up.
One of the questions and answers I really liked was when Jeb Bush was asked about his brother’s decision to invade Iraq. He definitely could not have lied.
What he did say to try and save face for the family; that in retrospect the invasion should have never taken place. It is gratifying to see a Bush family member own up to that humongous blunder.
Like millions of other people, I said that well before the bombing started. My observations was; Iraq and the world is going to far worse off after this mess than before it started. I had no idea just how bad it would be!!!
Jeb Bush tried to blame poor intelligence for part of the disastrous blunder that opened a can of worms like the world has never seen before.
The fact of the matter is GWB sent his best and most respected inspector to Iraq and his findings were negative. No weapons of mass destruction did exist.
Cheney had convinced Bush to go to war long before the inspector went to Iraq.
I have to say that the majority of what is going on in the world today is all a result of GWB being coerced by that evil Dick Cheney to invade Iraq regardless of what the inspectors findings. It was all for show and tell. Everything snowballed from there.
Cheney is one of the many warmongers in the world that believes; in order for a country’s economy to thrive there has to be a war going on at all times.
WORLD NEWS
George Bush’s grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.
The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.
Here we are again – Dick Cheney – Prescott Bush – birds of a feather …..
I have no idea how anyone could be that evil, sadistic and ruthless to have beliefs such as that. It was all in the name of money.
Prescott Bush was not the only American with that demented mentality. There were at least a dozen very high rollers, if not more in the USA that backed Hitler in hopes of profited from WW II.
Lets hope that the other debates go as well as the one did last night and hopefully some of the excess baggage will soon be eliminated.
