RNC sees leverage over Trump
The GOP has resources to dangle in exchange for some message discipline from its presumptive nominee.

I see it the direct opposite. I think The Donald is holding all of the TRUMP cards and the RNC needs him.
Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus has begun stating in private meetings that the party has sway over its at times unwelcome front-runner because it has tools Trump will need to use to win a general election such as voter data and field, digital and media operations that a nominee typically inherits from the party infrastructure.
This is what I love about politics and a very reason everyone hates politicians; there is literally is no honor among thieves.
When the Trumpster first popped his pompadour on-to the political scene and threw that baseball he wears when it is windy into the ring; virtually no one gave the humble – soft spoken billionaire a snowballs chance in hell to survive for 2 months. Everyone in the republican party was throwing anchors at the guy hoping he would drownd.
Now that he has weathered all the storms, in spite of himself by utilizing all of his modesty, done it all on his own, with virtually no help from the politicians and IS the front-runner, all of a sudden the RNC is sucking up to Donald saying; it has tools Trump will need to use to win a general election.
If Trump is successful in winning the election running against one of the other two doozies; he can hold his head up high and say that he did it on his own by telling it like it is – shooting straight from the hip and not bullshitting the American people.
We can say that Trump woke the sleeping giant and it long overdue. Intelligent people want the truth so a game plan can be put together on how to solve the problems.
It is human nature that most people are intimidated and afraid of a straight shooter and people with strong character. They do not want to face the truth.
If and when The Trumpster makes it to the Big Chair, he will be-able to say he got there on his own with a little help from his friends.
The political worm has definitely taken a turn.

Priebus, told me over the phone last time, that Romney would run and not Huntsman. I was not thrilled. Trump should put Priebus out in the hallway and keep doing business without RNC assistance. Veiled threats of tax returns, are a two-way street when you have enough money, and Trump, has enough money to dig dirt against anyone.
Every last American, should be backing Trump, and not the controlled (purchased) political hacks from any political party.
