W. Va. lawmaker under fire for Clinton death tweet:

No one can accuse the West By God politician of not saying what he really feels.

I wonder how many bottles of Moon Shine Republican Michael Folk drank before he made this dangerous and very severe threat calling for Bill’s bride to be hung?

Needless to say; statements/tweets/e-mail like that are absolutely going way out-of-bounds. A person can think what they want but to publicize it is ludacris. Of hand, I would say Mike really doesn’t like Bill’s bride very much.

@HillaryClinton You should be tried for treason, murder, and crimes against the US Constitution… then hung on the Mall in Washington, DC

I would conclude Michael Folk  has really folked himself up with this inflammatory statement. Based on who he is directing his anger to, it is a prosecutable offense. As we have witnessed, that family has a lot of pull.  He may be going on a little all expense paid vacation, compliments of the US government.

Threatening government officials of the United States is a serious crime under federal law. Threatening the President of the United States is a Class E felony under 18 U.S.C. § 871, punishable by up to 5 years of imprisonment, that is investigated by the United States Secret Service. Threatening other officials is a Class C or D felony, usually carrying maximum penalties of 5 or 10 years under 18 U.S.C. § 875, 18 U.S.C. § 876 and other statutes, that is investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Maybe Mike should consider switching his Moon Shine distributor. The guys may have put too much sugar in his batch.

I highly doubt an actual threat, and more like, a figure of speech as covered under the First Amendment. I am very fond of West Virginia, and, moonshine. Too bad there is no law protecting citizens from threats made by the elected officials. Now there’s a thought!
