Roger Goodell on Colin Kaepernick: ‘We believe very strongly in patriotism in the NFL‘

Come on Dodger; you have to make a better attempt than that being you are the NFL’s spokesman.

He should hang his head in shame

The NFL pays this comedian 40 million a year so he can make intelligent statements like this.

Goodell’s comments, according to NFL Network, were as follows:

“Well my personal thoughts are… I support our players when they want to see change in society, and we don’t live in a perfect society. We live in an imperfect society. On the other hand, we believe very strongly in patriotism in the NFL. I personally believe very strongly in that. I think it’s important to have respect for our country, for our flag, for the people who make our country better; for law enforcement, and for our military who are out fighting for our freedoms and our ideals.

“These are all important things for us, and that moment is a very important moment. So, I don’t necessarily agree with what he is doing. We encourage our players to be respectful in that time and I like to think of it as a moment where we can unite as a country. And that’s what we need more, and that’s what I think football does – it unites our country. So I would like to see us focusing on our similarities and trying to bring people together.

“Players have a platform, and it’s his right to do that. We encourage them to be respectful and it’s important for them to do that.

“I think it’s important if they see things they want to change in society, and clearly we have things that can get better in society, and we should get better. But we have to choose respectful ways of doing that so that we can achieve the outcomes we ultimately want and do it with the values and ideals that make our country great.”

This DUDE made a 5-minute speech and said absolutely nothing. Roger Dodger is just another one in the long line of cowards I referred to in my prior post.

It is called double talking and lip service. $40,000,000,000.00 a year and that is all he can come up with.

I said this so many time I sound like a F&%@*# parrot. If everyone is truly sconcerned with the racial fiasco and  doesn’t get to the root of the infection – dig it out with a very sharp scalpel –  put into in a smelting pot in the blast furnish and destroy it, there can’t ever be a resolution to the racial issues in this country.

It is absolute nonsense that all sides are blaming and pointing the fingers the other.  This is a problem for the entire country, not just black and white but everyone.

But the facts still remain that the VAST-MAJORITY of the crimes committed in the USA are by black citizens.  Unless that simple fact is acknowledged and resolved, we are going to have cops of all races on edge when they approach a potential criminal.

Easy as this – STOP THE CRIMES.

CHICAGO (CBS)

In Chicago last weekend –Thirteen people were killed and at least 52 others, including a pregnant woman who was wounded in shootings across the city. ONE WEEKEND

What do all of the do-gooder  naysayers have to say about those numbers and facts?  Is the violence and killing out of hand or what??? Doc Holiday – Jesse James – Wyatt Earp – The Dillion Brothers –  all combined  did not kill that many people in their lifetime.

These bandito’s look at these crimes as a badge of honor among their crazy gun-toting people  to demonstrate their machismo or prove how insane they really are?

All of this crime, whether in The Windy City or elsewhere are all tied together.  This violence and killing have gotten so far out of hand it is way beyond manageable.  Stack them up and forget about them is about the best law enforcement can do. This has become a favorite pastime and a hobby for the gun-slingers.

As far as Goodell goes; I would suggest he say nothing at all if he can’t come up with a better statement than what he did. Like some politicians I know of; they better get more qualified writers. They are not doing them any favors.
