OBAMA EMERGES! ‘AMERICAN VALUES AT STAKE
FORMER president Obama (it feels so good to say former) has gone public against PDT for his stand against shutting the doors on various Muslim country’s citizens entering the USA. I would not expect any different.
I can’t help but wonder if this is going to be a constant drill of Mr. O to bird-dog PDT for his entire term in office? Possibly he misses being in the spot-light.
Former President Barack Obama released a statement on Monday expressing solidarity with those protesting his successor’s ban on travelers and refugees entering the United States from certain Muslim-majority countries.
The fact of the matter is cut and dry. The USA has experienced droves of problems, many severe, with SOME Muslim citizens entering this country committing crimes of various sorts. This out of control situation has existed for years while Mr. O was president. He did very little to nothing to correct the problems.
Now that we have a president that is ready, willing and able to take steps to prevent these situations, all of a sudden Mt. O is picking apart PDT’s mode of operation.
In my opinion, I would much rather have someone at the helm that is a DOER instead of a TALKER; even if there are a few mistakes made along the way. The DOERS do and the TALKERS just talk.
That very persuasive silver tongue that Obama has is part of what got him elected in 2008. That is all well and good, but at some point in time, actions have to replace the words.
I worked with an old black man years ago that was very wise. He once told me; if in you never did nothing, how can you make a mistake??
I rest my case.
