Pete Hegseth signs memo opening door for troops to carry personal firearms on bases

Hegseth cited recent tragedies at Fort Stewart, Holloman Air Force Base and Pensacola Naval Air Station

The decision is good for safety purposes, but a bad idea if someone coming off liberty drunk goes berserk, killing a few of his fellow soldiers. This scenario has happened too many times. I will clasify this move as “a necessary evil”.

It has been my opinion all along that  Hegseth is a wild Canary. He must have something on Donald Trump for Trump to be naive enough to appoint him to this position, Department of War Czar. I didn’t care for him from the start. I think he’s a cowboy with too much power.

Prediction: It’s only a matter of time until he and THE BOSS bump heads, and Donald Trump will show him the revolving door.

People in that type of strategic position, and all the power that goes with it can be very dangerous.

Being the good citizen that he is so I see that he has to take advantage of some of the stock buying from companies that deal in the manufacture of war products. Would that be an incentive for him to push the war further so he can make more jing-a-ling?? I have no doubt in my mind that is his intention. I was under the impression that political figures were not allowed to deal in Insider trading information.

I would be very interested in seeing what kind of whore deals Donald Trump is conjuring up. It really pisses him off that Vladimir Putin and Elon Musk gave more dollars behind their name than he does. It is quite possible, when this is all over, if our country survives, Donald Trump just may be the richest man in the world. I am sure that is absolutely his goal.

Will we ever see another totally honest politician sitting in THE BIG CHAIR again?? You can answer this question yourself. We have been going steadily downhill for decades now. Heaven only knows when we’re going to hit bottom.
