Jamie Dimon sounds alarm over economic outlook amid Israel-Hamas war

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon kicked off bank earnings season on Friday with a stark warning about the perils facing the world today.

In addition to the military conflicts, Dimon expressed concern about the persistently tight labor market and extremely high government debt levels — including the “largest peacetime fiscal deficits ever” — that he warned are increasing the risks of both inflation and interest rates remaining high.

I can appreciate Jamie Dimon’s take on the world situation but a person does not have to be the CEO of Chase to recognize the perilous times the world is in.

Just turn on the boob tube or sit down behind your computer and read the news, it is absolutely sickening. If you don’t feel like throwing up your guts there must be something wrong with you.

This entire conflict between Israel and Palestine can be compared to race relations in the United States. Most of which stemming from people that cannot let go of the past, just like with the on going conflict between the white and the black, predicated not so much acting on what is going on today, but what happened 10/15/20 fifty years ago. No matter what hostel direction they take it can ever be rectified.

We do not need Jamie Diamon to tell us that the future is in our hands as to it’s outcome, but the past can never be changed, only learned from.

Do the people on both sides of the spectrum have a legitimate extra grind with their proverbial enemies?? Absolutely yes, but as we can see if they cannot get their heads together and come up with an amicable solution for both sides, between the blacks and the whites, and the Jewish people and the Palestinians, or for that matter anyone/country that is caught up in a similar situation, these perpetual wars we’ll continue till the end of time, in the end, conditions being no better off than they were before, only conjuring up more hostilities.

The sad fact of the matter is, there are war profiteers that are making big money over these conflicts and do not want to see them settled. What sad ass time we live in, and unfortunately, I don’t see it getting any better.

Is it a pathetic fact that people involved do not want change, they are content in raising their kids and the same hateful environment they grew up in. It doesn’t have to be that way.

I will guarantee if and when this war between Israel and Palestine is over (if it ever is) relations between the two factions and every other country that gets involved are going to be much worse than they were before it started. It will also have a long lasting dire consequences for the rest of the world.

What are both sides going to have in the end but massive infrastructure destruction, thousands and thousands of unnecessary deaths, and still no further ahead than they are today, but much worse.

Is forgiving, not forgetting, and putting the hatred issue aside a hard pill to swallow so the world can move forward?? Absolutely, but the way I see it, there is no other alternative.

Hate is like a cancer, unless it is chopped off and controlled, it will consume everything in its path. This is the way the world is headed.

I always stand by good old common sense.

Peace is attainable if the world really wants it.

Actions speak louder than words. By the UN refusing to set sanctions against Hamas, I would think it’s fair to say that they declared themselves, taking sides with the barbarians. Who in their right mind seeing all of the atrocities, brutality and unhuman like actions Hamas has executed in this war, anyone that takes their side as a gigantic mental disability.

There used to be a time in history when mankind was less barbaric than we are now. In combat women and children were off limits.

Now it’s become very fashionable; if you will, beheading is the ultimate shame put on a person.

Based on all these circumstances, mankind can only go one way and that is down.

Shame on the UN. They are not smart enough (whose side are they on anyway) to see what Obama did allowing Iran access to money they had salted away. When he released the funds, and even before, he put them on the fast track true help to destroy the world.

Let’s take a good look and see whose side the opposing teams are on. On one side, we have the United Nations (MAYBE ALL OF ITS MEMBERS) that does not have the sense to come out of the rain. How they are equipped militarily is another big question. On the other side, we have Iran, Russia, China, North Korea and all of the other renegade factions that are out there; all who are salivating just waiting to destroy the United States and its allies.

Give all of those figures and statistics to a Las Vegas blackjack dealer and he will tell you to save your money.

This is just about one of the saddest and deplorable times in the United States history and the rest of the world.

What is the solution?? Certainly not the direction The United Nations is going. I guess stupidity runs and bunches.

There is so much land and other natural resources in this world to go around, if level-headed world leaders would put their heads together with a common goal of peace and tranquility there would never be the necessity for one more shot to be fired.

Sad to say lasting peace can never be achieved because of the very few and very powerful that control the world. They do not want their own little piece of the pie, they want the whole pie.

When I was young and naïve, I always thought that there was not a situation that existed that could not be corrected. The older I became the more I realized that wrong I was. Certain things will never change.

I don’t think that Donald Trump will ever learn what to say and what not to say at the appropriate time. It is one thing to have your own private thoughts, but if you know that touching certain sensitive subjects publicly will hurt you, why not keep your opinion to yourself.

He made a statement that Hezbollah very smart people. He is correct in his statement both neglected to say, they are also ruthless and barbaric. It should go without saying; to pull off a surprise attack on Israel the way Hezbollah did they have to be very intelligent. It is too bad that you cannot use their intelligence and a peaceful manner.

I really don’t think that Trump did himself any good politically by expressing his personal opinions, as he is so notorious for.

Will he ever learn to say, I don’t have an opinion at this time or I don’t know I’ll get back to you later.

Another thing; he has never been in the other person’s place that he is ridiculing. A person has to walk and the other person’s shoes in order to judge them. Netanyahu is a seasoned warrior who has been through thick and thin as the leader of Israel. I believe in situations like this, Donald Trump should keep his opinions to himself.
