If what he says is remotely accurate (which I doubt), did the proff ever consider that MOST people who live in the suburbs do not riot or loot, they are more civilized. They have more sense than to destroy property, that in the long run will impact their way of life.

IFFFF – I say IFFFFF, that monumental task could be achieved (we will never cut crime 100%) that would put a significant dent in criminal against cops scenario. Marine Corps Commandant Gen. David Berger wants “exceptionally talented Americans” to be able to bypass the Corps’ traditional rites of passage and begin serving “at a rank appropriate to their education, experience, and ability.”
There is no way that I would ever consider anyone that took the short cut this ignorant general is suggesting, a real Marine.
The abuse – ass kicking and difficult training associated with the boot camp is a very big part of what makes a Jar Head a Jar Head. Anyone that disagrees has not gone through the mill and came out a better person.
I would like to take a poll of all that have made it through boot camp, to see what their opinion is. What the Berger is doing can be compared to what the far-lefters that are doing, turning the USA into a weaker, undisciplined country.
