Democratic Sen. McCaskill finds House defense bill riddled with earmarks

 WASHINGTON — House Republicans banned earmarks a top symbol of congressional profligacy, after they won control of the chamber last fall in a wave of voter anger over excessive government spending.

 But more than half of the amendments to this year’s House Department of Defense authorization bill were earmarks, according to Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, a leading congressional critic of the practice.
In addition, the report said, “These amendments were subsequently adopted in large groups with little or no debate” or public disclosure.

Question: How do you know when a politician is lying?

Answer: When his/her mouth is open.

Does it amaze you to see that these amendments were silently passed with “little or no debate” or public disclosure”? Not me. I think there are more underhanded deals pushed through or hidden by the slimy senate and corrupt congress than the  public will ever know about.

It goes without saying; when inquiries were made directed to the spokesman for the House Armed Services Committee; he could not be reached for comment Friday.

“I’m either on the phone or away from my desk”! Does that message piss me off! You absolutely know that that person is hiding under their desk listening to their message and hoping the phone would quit ringing.

I am positive that this is just a very miniscule example of “business as usual” in D.C.

These are the sea urchins we elected, that are paid big bucks, with every benefit imaginable, that don’t live by the same rules their “subjects” do, who are entrusted to watch out for the American people’s wellbeing, could not be doing a worse job even if they tried. They are so used to the deceitful tactics they use on a daily basis, they must really believe that this Standard Operating Procedure. They lie to eachother so much they start to believe it themselves.

They should be called “back door capitol city gangsters” instead of “sea urchins” or whichever tag is more degrading.

O-Bomb-O promised (they call it a platform) when he was running for election that he was going to clear the halls in congress of special interest groups.

CEO of General Electric Jeff Immelt ; yes the same company that didn’t pay any taxes in 2010, was appointed by O-Bomb-O as the chief to the jobs advisory panel. This can be compared to giving a bandit a giant gratuity for robbing your house.

I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

That statement was made on live TV to the American public with his “boss” Hillary standing next to him. She knew that he was bull shitting right from the get go.

I really don’t know if there is an answer/solution to the corruption and deceit in American politics but I think that everyone in the country is getting sick and tired of these underhanded, back stabbing maneuvers executed by our so called “leaders”.
