‘Mob’ wife’s addiction:

Like one of the old Rock and Roll Kings would say “How low can you go”!

Mob wives are a perfect example of just how far American television has declined in recent years and is getting worse all the time.

More and more of these programs are coming on the tube because they are cheap to make and there is a very big audience for them. This is no compliment to the mentality of the viewers.

People around the world that happen to view these substandard TV shows must certainly have a very low opinion of Americans, especially the Italian-American women. It is degrading and insulting to them.

Some very rich numbskull TV executives got together and came up with the brilliant idea of gathering a few of the wives and daughters of some Italian mobsters, some of which are living, some dead and some in the cross bar hotel, pay them big bucks to make fools out of themselves;  in the process disgrace the rest of the Italian-American women.

These street-hardened ladies are paid big bucks to get on TV, slap the hell out of one-another, pull each-others hair, roll on the floor and make complete fools of themselves; not mention the mouths on these “ladies”. They make longshoremen sound like a nun in the cloistered convent.

I can’t really say I blame the “stars” of the show. If some fool wants to dish out 100,000.00 or whatever they are paid per episode for this type of substandard programing, why not except.

Anyone that believes that this reality show and many more like it are not scripted to some degree; I still have about 80000 acres of Florida swamp land I would like to sell.

It is just like Big Time Wrestling. They have a pay scale;

Hit with a chair in the face 500.00 – Dive off the ropes onto a table 750.00 – knock out the referee 1000.00 – slice open their forehead 1500.00 – get hit with a 2×4  2000.00

The same thing applies to the girls. The more dysfunctional they make the program look the more money they make. That’s show biz.

Clark Gable and Lana Turner are probably rolling over in their graves.

It seems that this style of TV viewing is what a lot of American people want to see; that is why Jersey Shores lasted as long as it did. Its demise from the tube is no big loss to anyone.

I am surprised that they haven’t imported a guy directly from the “other side” named Geroldo Springgerinno to MC their show. He can add a little more dimension to the show and maybe clean it up a little bit.

If you haven’t had the “pleasure” of seeing their free-for-all antics, cut and paste the website below. You will be amazed at the absolute poor quality and tasteless  style of the program. This is just what we want our kids to view.

I am sure that there are a lot of people in general and a lot of Italian people out there that love it??? To each their own.

The only thing that really bothers me is not the program itself but the fact that they are putting the hammer to the rest of the American-Italian women in our country.

I can tell all of the people that are living under a rock, if you don’t know it already; these ladies are .10 of 1 % or less of what a real Italian women represent.
