There was even a chart made up that depicts the “Who’s Who” of political crooks from The Big Apple but this is one bite of the apple the thieves did not want to take.
Malcolm Smith is a Democratic state senator who is accused of bribing a City Councilman, two county Republican leaders and two Rockland County officials in order to get on the ballot as a Republican to run for mayor in 2013.
Smith, 56, who is no stranger to controversy, arranged $40,000 in bribes for Vincent Tabone and Joseph Savino, two of the county Republican leaders whose support Smith would have needed in order to run on the Republican line.
I wonder if Jesse and Al will get on the band wagon and claim it is discrimination as they often do when a black person is caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
I am trying to get Tony Soprano to vouch for the two Italian crooks as a character witness.
