Let’s analyze this Syria / Obama situation very quickly. There has been enough said about it.

Four headlines:

Obama wages air war

Assad: U.S. attack on Syria will bring ‘repercussions’

Russia issues a statement of consequences if Obama invades Syria

Overwhelming majority of Americans are against attacking Syria

Is it beyond belief that with the overwhelming opposition to bombing Syria; Obama is still putting himself way out on a limb to try and persuade the rest of the world he is right?

The vast majority of the world, 98% of congress and the same percentage of Americas are against this invasion. It was always my understanding that people were voted into office to serve the people not their own egos and agendas.

What the whole thing boils down to is; in front of the world Obama drew a line in the sand earlier this year and gave Assad an ultimatum that if he was using chemical weapons against his people the USA would take drastic actions against his country; something he has followed through with.  Now he has to save face and back up his threats. The world leaders are laughing at him and his creditability in in the sewer.

So far, thank goodness, the attack hasn’t happened and hopefully Obama will come to his senses and pay attention to what the rest of the world is telling him. The answer to his obstinate position and total disregard for what everyone is telling him is; at this point Obama has been “called out”. He sold Syria some serious “wolf tickets” and has not backed his threats up. It has become a personal issue rather than a humanitarian issue.

I hope that Obama’s arrogance and gigantic ego will not be the downfall of the USA. He has been crippling this country in more ways than any other president has; this would be the coup de gra.
