Report: Floyd Mayweather says he’d give Manny Pacquiao a rematch:
The ink isn’t even dry on that measly 100 million dollar check Mayweather was signifying with the other day and they are already trying to set up a rematch.
To all of the salamis’ that coughed up big money to see the ballet lesson last Saturday night, the bait out there and fish hooks have the worms attached waiting for you fish to bite again. Get your private jet fueled up and your credit cards out, this may have been a fix as I indicated in my previous post so they could set up a rematch.
Anyone that believes that with a fight as crucial as this one was, for one of the combatants to ignore a physical problem, especially a torn rotator cuff, has to have rocks in their heads.
Speaking for experience; I had a torn rotator cuff and I could barely pick my arm up over my head let alone go 12 rounds.
Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, said the shoulder was getting better by the day in training camp.
“We thought at one time we’d postpone the fight, but as the weeks went on it was getting better and I was happy with his performance,” Roach said. “I thought the progress was good enough.”

Torn rotator cuffs do not repair themself sufficiently to be as good as new; surgery is the only answer,
Methodist Orthopaedic:
There has always been a question whether rotator cuff tears can heal without surgery. It is clear that painful symptoms can be treated effectively without surgery. But does the torn tendon actually regenerate itself? And if the tear does heal (or at least decrease in size) — is the tissue quality of the healing site normal tendon tissue or scar tissue? This study does not look at the quality of tissue repair but does evaluate size of the tear over time.
Ultrasound imaging was used to diagnose 61 tears in 51 adults 60 years old and younger. Follow-up ultrasounds were taken two to three years later. Patient age, sex (male or female), size of the tear, and patient symptoms were compared with the results of the ultrasound.
They found that half of the tears got worse (larger in size) over time and that an increase in tear size was accompanied by increased shoulder pain. One-fourth of the total group developed a second full-thickness rotator cuff tear. The rest of the group (26 tears accounting for 43 per cent of the total) were unchanged (not better or worse).
It was my observation, neither Mayweather nor the Filipino Prince tried very hard to hurt the other one. They did just enough to pacify the fight fans.
Going back into the dirty history of boxing; a fix like this would not surprise me at all.
What will the purse be if and when the rematch comes off; 300 million for each of the contestants?
My name is Thomas the Doubter and I would want to stick my hand in the wound before I believed anything these stick-up artists come up with.
