Leave it to our Russian cousins to try and out-due the Americans by taking the violent sport of MMA (mixed martial arts) to a new level. Their acronym for their sport CTHO (chop their head 0ff).
What we they have come up with is a combination of, even though it is a poor example of, the martial arts, boxing, grappling and medieval sword fighting all wrapped into one.
I can’t really tell if the objective of this contest is for one of the pugilists to cut the other ones head off or just cripple the dude for life.
They say there are rules to abide by but they are very lax.
If this test period is successful, if no one is killed in a contest, there is a possibility the Judo Guy is going to take his country’s sport to a next level and allow them to wield axes at one another. Maybe just a rumor.
The winner of each contest get a months free membership to one of the country’s vodka cellars. Tip not included; cloths are optional.
