If Mitt Romney would have attack Obama with the same vigor, boldness and intensity as he attack Trump today; he may have been president today.

In case you missed it; it is worth watching. The guy took no prisoners and was brutal.

Is some of what Romney said true? ABSOLUTELY but I don’t think there is anyone else that shake up the current situations we have in this country the way Trump can do it.

I said this 7 plus years ago. If Obama would come across with everything he promised the American people and he didn’t let his position go to his head; he may have made a good president.

I will say the same thing about Trump. If he is on the up and up as he portrays himself to be; doesn’t let his ego get any bigger than it is already ( that is a tall order) and comes across with everything he is promising (I think it is almost impossible) he will make a great president.

The universal problem is FOLKS; once the gold digging broad gets her claws into the old man she married for his money; the make comes of and her true personality really comes out.

I have a lot of respect for Romney. He is the poster boy for a good, honest citizen, an American patriot, great role model and great family man. Even if he is worth 250 million.

When he ran in 2008; one of the reasons he wasn’t more aggressive is because he was running against the first black man to run for president. He didn’t want to create any political or racial waves.

He absolutely was more qualified than Obama but he had a few things going against him. #1 he is a republican – not a popular position to be in the days of GWB and his henchman Cheney. # 2 he didn’t have the fire in his soul that it takes to run for such a position.

It was almost like a racism thing. Romney was getting blamed for everything his party did years before he ever thought of putting his name on the ticket. It is extremely difficult to shed a bad reputation or separate ones self from someone that the person is closely affiliated with.  I have always have maintained; no one is responsible for what their father or their forefathers did. 

I am very anxious to see how Trump responds to Romney’s dissection of him.  One of Trump’s biggest enemies is Trump himself. He has to learn how to control his temper. From here on out, the swells in the political ocean are going to be of Tsunami proportion. .

I don’t have a crystal ball. I hope for the sake of future generations that the right person is elected in November.

From where I have been seated for the last few years; I do not want the Clinton Machine back in the Casa Bianca.
