US lawmaker calls for probe into possible $418M arms sale to Kenya
A North Carolina congressman is calling for a probe into a potential $418 million contract between Kenya and a major U.S. defense contractor announced on President Obama’s last day in office — a deal the lawmaker claims reeks of cronyism.

Republican Rep. Ted Budd wants the Government Accountability Office to investigate a deal between the African nation and New York-based L3 Technologies for the sale of 12 weaponized border patrol planes. He said he wants to know why a veteran-owned small company in North Carolina – which specializes in making such planes – was not considered as the manufacturer.
It is not uncommon for many of our illustrious politicians to have gigantic gardens, places where they can plant things while they are in office. They plant a lot of special seeds in their magic garden and water the hell out of it. Miraculously, by the time they decide to get their hats, that magic garden has produced some wondrous plants that will benefit them the rest of their lives – their kids lives – grandchildren lives and great grandchildren’s lives. Those are some pretty powerful seeds.

They can investigate Obama until their North Carolina cows come home. The question is; what will they do with their findings??
The 10th amendment reads; The government is not Above the Law. I can honestly say that I have seen so many infractions of the law by so many politicians through the years it is sinful. It seems the higher the office, the more immunity they have.
They can investigate their southern fried buns off, but if they are not going to follow through, why bother?
