Trump ‘seriously’ considering commuting Blagojevich sentence
Donny; the guy is a thief and a disgrace to American politics and what it SHOULD stand for. Using your same analogy, he is not a nice guy. Aside from his pompadour, he is well known for his theft/attempted theft in office. Donny, don’t stick your neck out, you have enough critics.

President Trump said on Wednesday that he is “seriously” considering commuting the prison sentence of Rod Blagojevich and said the disgraced former Illinois governor was treated “unbelievably unfairly” by the ex-FBI Director Jim Comey’s gang of ‘sleazebags,” according to a report.
Blagojevich, a Democrat, is currently serving 14 years on a federal corruption conviction. The charges are related to soliciting money for an appointment to former President Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat. Other charges included the extortion of a children’s hospital and race track.
Trying to use the political clout he thought he had, then governor of Illinois, Rodney (that is what his close friends call him) Blagojevich, tried to sell the seat vacated by TMC when he was elected to president ( a very sad day). As a result, he was caught with his greedy hands in the cookie jar and had the book thrown at him. He got what he deserved.
I think it is a mistake for PDT to intervene and pardon this guy. He did the crimes, was found guilty, now he should do the time, completely. I don’t know why PDT feels the man was treated unfairly?
To make the matter even slimier than it already is; Jesse Jackson Sr. and his son, former Illinois Jesse Jackson Jr. who was in the running for the Obama’s seat, have urged Trump to pardon Blagojevich.
Well – well – well; what an endorsement. If Jesse and his kid are backing Blagojevich, how credible should we expect this deal to be???

These are some of the kid credentials, thanks to Wikipedia:
In October 2012, Jackson was investigated for financial improprieties including misuse of campaign funds. Jackson resigned from Congress on November 21, 2012, citing mental and physical health problems, including bipolar disorder and gastrointestinal problems. On February 8, 2013, Jackson admitted to violating federal campaign law by using campaign funds to make personal purchases.[4] Jackson pleaded guilty on February 20, 2013, to one count of wire and mail fraud.[5] On August 14, 2013, he was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison.[6] Jackson was released from prison on March 26, 2015.
This is the tip of the ice-pick showing the senior Jackson integrity:

If I were looking for credibility references, I sure as hell would not be seeking The Jackson clans support.
One picture says a 1,000 words.

Need not say more.

Rod B. is definitely a Democrat and could be ungrateful if Trump pardoned him. But his wife has been on FOX news crying for him to be released. Seems like the guy has served long enough compared to those who haven’t even been indicted yet like Hillary, McCabe, Strzok, Comey, Ohr, et al. They committed crimes against our country.
The Good old boys club and it’s nice to know important people in high places
I always said the worst thing about a click is if you’re not in it
I just don’t think it is a wise move for Trump to stick his neck out – he has enough headaches
