What is the spending on Welfare? In FY 2021 total US government spending on welfare — federal, state, and local — was “guesstimated” to be $2,418 billion, including $763 billion for Medicaid, and $1,655 billion in other welfare.
This would be a great place for them to focus their efforts; by creating jobs for the and shit canning everyone that is on a social welfare program that is not qualified or is disabled. That alone would save the country billions of dollars a year. That is an example of what I am referring to and looking for places to generate revenue. Save the pennies and the dollars will follow.
There are very few people in Washington that have the balls to initiate an action like that because it is not popular with the people. There are only a few things that motivate these political parasites; one is to stay popular so they get the votes, number 2 to make sure when they leave office they are well heeled for the rest of their life.
I am not even a politician and in less than 30 minutes I can probably come up with the minimum of 10 to 20 different ways the government can generate money without raising taxes. The problem is, most of my suggestions will not be well received and unpopular.
These people (PPP piss poor politicians) fail to understand one important thing; they were elected to make the United States of America a better place for all of it’s citizens, not to win a popularity contest. It is very difficult to do a job with any degree of efficiency without creating enemies. That is what a good boss does.

What these fools are attempting, instead of trying to educate the American public and teaching them to be self sufficient, create jobs, work hard, become respectable citizens, they want to control them by turning them into robotic parasites, dependent on the government and not having to think for themselves or be self-reliant. With all of the items listed on their agenda to eliminate the overwhelming problems we are having in the United States; the politicians solution is not attempting try to get to the root of the problem and correct it through education and cutting costs; there Ace in the whole is always to print more that president Presidents and raise taxes and controlling the narrative.
I would feel much better about the BBB bill if it included educational programs (not in the traditional manner of 10 + 10 = 20) but how to develop current and future generations into being responsible citizens, To work hard for what they receive instead of expecting the government to support them.
Success through education is the only answer; not making mentally crippled individuals more dependent on the government than they already are.
Number 2; instead of throwing numbers in a hat and taking the easiest way out by raising taxes and printing more money; they should be looking at the massive overspending, waste, hidden contributions, special interest groups and paybacks/kickbacks to the people that supported them.
Raising taxes and printing more money requires no effort or hard work at all; it can all be done what a stroke of a pen. But doing the necessary WORK, the premise that they were elected on, (the politicians four letter word they hate WORK) and cut costs, eliminate overspending and gross negligence in mismanaging the finances of the country. That route would take a vast amount of hard work and a massive efforts (not in their dictionary) to achieve their goal. Solutions like that are out of the question for them and well beyond their capacity.
To ask our elected officials to sit down, put their heads together and figure a way out of this financial dilemma instead of raising taxes would be unconscionable. It would be as bad as calling their mother hookers. On second thought, I don’t know if it is possible to insult a politician. They have no inclination to work that hard and no idea where to start.
The only thing that they are achieving by their ridiculous proposal is putting the USA into a deeper darker hole than it is already. At the end of this current dog and pony show, when it does not workout, their solution will be, (does it surprise you) to print more money and raise taxes again.
What am I missing?? As bad off as this country is financially; I never hear any mention of paying off the National Debt. How can these people propose such astronomical financial solutions to our problems when we are already in debt up to our eye balls, and probably will never get out of??

One great solution that was proposed years back; is to make ALL of the able bodied citizens that are on any kind of social program to work for their pay checks.
