Tim Giardina, 3-Star Navy Admiral, Fired As No. 2 Commander Of U.S. Nuclear Forces:
Uncle Sam better start paying his “Brass” a little more than they are making now.
It is alleged that the deputy commander of U.S. nuclear forces, Vice Adm. Tim Giardina, was relieved of duty yesterday amid a military investigation of allegations that he used counterfeit chips at an Iowa casino, the Navy said.
I don’t know why it is always “alleged” when a person is caught with the smoking gun in their hand standing over the body? Gotta be PC these days.
It can be said that the admiral “Crapped out”; too many box cars.
The admiral is or should I say “was” the # 2 man in charge of the Strategic Command, which is responsible for all U.S. nuclear war fighting forces, including nuclear-armed submarines, bombers and land-based missiles.
A three star admiral makes about $13,500.00 a month or $162,000.00 a year and that is not chump change. I wonder how much a bogus 100 dollar chip cost him, probably 90.00.
Needless to say the admiral has to be an addicted gambler to resort to using counterfeit chips.
It is a shame that a man with that kind of a prestigious position in life, intelligence, military experience and stature is brought to his knees and disgraced because of an addiction. It is some powerful stuff.
